"MG began offering the MGB GT V8 in 1973 powered by the aluminum block 3,528 cc Rover V8 engine.
By virtue of the aluminum block and heads the V8 actually weighed 20 kg less than the iron block in-line 4 cylinder.
MG never attempted to export the car to the US so no left hand drive cars were ever developed for North America.

Originally from the UK this particular car was switched to LHD using all original MG parts before being imported to Canada in 2002.
Incredibly well documented car with receipts dating back to 1977! We have a 2 inch binder full of receipts!!
Just inspected and serviced at an MG specialty shop. This car runs great and looks absolutely amazing!
